Mobile People and Eniro have launched Eniro’s premium search service on new generation mobile phone terminals in Denmark. The service provides end-users with anytime, anywhere access to yellow pages, white pages, maps and route using their JAVA™ enabled mobile phone terminal. Finding a restaurant, a phone number or the best direction to the mall is now possible when on the move using your mobile phone terminal.

The service is a world introduction combining online search services with mobility, taking advantage of JAVA™ technology for mobile phone terminals by introducing a graphical user interface similar as to the online web search service.

“The mobile media is a natural expansion of our strong position within printed media and the internet. At the same time, it supports our strategy to offer end-users an easy access to our customers and other information on any media as marketed through our slogan: “Find it easy”.

Each new successful search cost 2 DKK. However, the route planner is free of charge for the first 2 months. The service is available on Nokia 3650, 7650, 5100, 6100, 6610, 6800, 7210 and 7250 and more mobile phones will continuously be added. The Eniro service for new generation mobile phones can be downloaded by sending an SMS to the short code 1928 with the keyword “Eniro”.
