Technology Overview
The liquid platform is based on a distributed, scalable and powerful architecture. It excels in fast and easy integration processes. It is up and running in a very short time with minimal effort and is scalable for millions of users and thousands of content sources. Upgrading any part of the platform is fast and every customer gets a perfectly designed solution based on specific requirements.

Our technology supports all types of devices from the simplest to the most advanced. Our database is updated on an ongoing basis and currently holds over 2600 mobile devices covering 13000 user agents. We use the standard WAP mark-up languages, for old devices (WML browsers) and new ones (XHTML-MP browsers) for displaying optimised results and search experiences. At the same time we also provide customised client applications in Java ME and BREW which we can update seamlessly.

Furthermore we integrate the following technologies:  SMS, MMS, WAP, JAVA ME, Symbian, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, i-mode, BREW, WML and XHTML

Performance
Today we are processing more than one million searches per month. Based on our flexible node architecture we can add in multiple nodes to achieve almost unlimited scalability and redundancy.

Languages
Both our WAP and JAVA clients are based on a localisation module which supports any language using the UTF-8 encoding. We can furthermore localise content and WAP pages to suit specific needs.

Monitoring
We operate on a 24/7 support function. Our automated monitoring installation checks all our systems and third party data sources at regular intervals. In case of emergency customers can call our care centre around the clock.

Statistics
Our flexible web management system gives you access to real time data which can be exported as a CSV file for further analysis. Statistics include e.g.

  • Number of client downloads (total, by network operator, by version and by device model)
